 WE Volunteer

80% of all EMTS and Fireman are Volunteers across the nation. Giving recognition to those volunteers, particularly in New York State, is a focus of the Lake Delta website. We make no aplogogies for that.

Understanding and seeing what we do for our district is not always possible to show. This video however provides a sense of what it means to volunteer the service we offer.
WE encourage YOU to volunteer too.

Help us Help You!

"Over 10 years ago, when GuideStar first started, transparency in the nonprofit sector was a revolutionary concept. It was nearly impossible to find good-quality nonprofit data. Posting IRS 990s on our Web site in 1999 caused a stir, with lots of angry phone calls from nervous nonprofit leaders"

Lake Delta VFD was never nervous in 1999 and we are not nervous now. Check us out. Consistantly well over over 90% of all funds donated to our department go to provide direct service to our community. The remaining 10% goes to helping the community understand that. Donate intelligently. Donate to the LAKE DELTA FIRE DEPARTMENT. as.10.7
